How has your character changed in your book? Write about what event caused them to change and then two traits to describe them. Be sure your traits are before and after. Don't forget to use character names!
List two character traits that describe your character. Then use F.A.S.T to justify each of your traits. Be sure to use your characters name, correct capitalization, and punctuation.
What is one struggle your character has faced in your book? Be sure to include the title of your book and the characters name.
Write about the setting of your independent reading book. Tell the time and/or place of the story, then list details given to help you know the setting.
Write about your favorite book that you have ever read, or had read to you. Be sure to state the title and explain why you enjoyed the book so much.

Blog about something you have done over Spring Break. What was it and what made it great?
I finally went and did iFly on Friday afternoon. It was super exhilarating and a lot of fun. The experience was great because it was like being in a wind tunnel that was blowing you all around. I even had the opportunity to fly up higher than usual. I can't wait to go back again and fly even higher! This week we have been working on an authors choice of words through their tone to depict the mood of a story. What is the mood of your book? Don't forget your books title and a justification about how the author is setting that mood.
What is one thing you have tried to persuade your parents about? What was a point you were making in your argument? What was a counter argument from your parents?
When I was younger I really wanted a Barbie Jeep. One way I tried to convince my parents to get me one was by telling them it was safer then a bike, because you can fall off a bicycle. My parents didn't want me to have one because they were worried I would take off down the road and not come back. I never did get that Barbie Jeep, however Brayden and Ryan each have their own battery powered vehicles. Oddly enough, they were presents from my parents! |
